APS is known for their innovative approach to common problems. Over the years we have heard many concerns that comfort will be sacrificed if energy savings are to be gained. Others worry that set-back are undermined by additional energy required to bring systems up to full capacity. Many people don't know that buildings are ventilated through the HVAC system, as required by law, and feel the need to supplement ventilation. This can be a very costly mistake.

To help people gain a better understanding of how heating and cooling systems work, APS considers common situations, concerns and misconceptions and prepares case studies to help address these areas. APS also works on innovative new solutions to the problem of climate change.
